My first meeting with Yoana at her care home was just over 20 years ago, when my grandmother needed care. She lived at Yoana's for nearly a year and received amazing care. Fast forward to April 2024, when we needed a place for my father. Our first call was to Yoana, and gratefully she had an opening! The staff took fabulous care of Dad, and were incredible to work with. They work very well with hospice, too. Sadly, Dad was only at Yoana's for 3 months, but they made his last months so much better! Even almost a year later, I know I am welcome to stop by and say hi...the staff loved him--and us--like family.

My mother was in Yoana's care for 9 years. Loved having a big space and a nice backyard for summer visits. Each person had their own room compared to the last place she was at. Always made sure she ate and was well taken care of. Even during COVID they would bring my mom to the door so I could say hi to her. She was the longest resident in the home. Never thought of moving her out in the 9 years she was there. Unfortunately my mom passed because of Alzheimer's. Recommend this place to those seeking a place for their loved ones.

We are grateful for Yoana and the caring staff at Fairwood Care Home.
When a large care facility declined to take our mom (reportedly because of her extensive pill regimen), Yoana graciously welcomed her. It has been obvious to us, as we’ve visited the home and witnessed interactions between Yoana and her clients, that she not only values human life, but is concerned about the quality of each resident’s life. Yoana looks for ways in which she can bless the residents, whether that is an outing to a local luncheon event (for those capable), hosting special holiday parties, or just offering a kind word and a smile.
The staff at the home are welcoming, respectful, and hard working. The home itself is well maintained, clean and tastefully decorated. There are several common areas where residents can gather, including a large covered deck.
We know it can be a difficult to deal with all the complexities of an Adult Family Home, but Yoana handles it all with grace and kindness.

I cannot say enough positive things about Joanne. And ALL the people that work for her, Her mom Maria, Jon, And Rodica are fabulous and others ( forgot their name's ). My mom is 95 years old and she had a double stroke and very very hard to deal with. We had 3 different scam artists working on our mom and teaching her to hate us Children and then Joanne stepped into the picture About Five years ago and her family and workers. 😍🥰 And we were able to get the bad people out of my mom's life with their help.👍 They went beyond the call of duty And they take excellent excellent Excellent care of our mom, ❤️They are some of the best cooks from romania and The house is always clean Thanks to Rodica. When I Call there.They answer the phone and help mom to say hello to me. They keep us updated all the time on how she is doing and give me a place to sleep when I travel up there to stay. I feel like God answered my prayers, when we were asking For someone that could help watch and take Good care of our mom and keep her safe. I just can't say enough good things and thank you, Joanne and everyone there for your care and love you give our mother.

My folks were under Yoana's care for 2 years. Because Yoana cared, my mother was able to get out of her wheelchair full time and use her walker.
